Summary
We are seeking a friendly and motivated Casual Allied Health Assistant to support young children's social and emotional development and daily routines.
Working under the guidance of a qualified Allied Health Professional, you will provide hands‐on support and assist with implementing individualised therapy programs to help children engage, learn and thrive. This role suits someone passionate about early childhood development and making a meaningful difference for families.
Responsibilities
* Facilitating engaging activities to enhance social skills, emotional regulation, and play.
* Assisting children and families in developing and maintaining effective daily routines (e.g., morning routines, meal times, bedtime).
* Documenting progress and communicating effectively with the supervising therapist.
* Creating a supportive, fun, and inclusive environment for children.
Essential Requirements
* You must either hold a relevant qualification (e.g., Cert IV in Allied Health Assistance, Disability, Early Childhood Education, etc.) OR be actively working towards a professional qualification in a relevant field.
* Current Working with Children Check (WWCC).
* Willingness to successfully undertake a Police Check and an NDIS Worker Screening Check.
* Excellent communication, patience, and a positive, empathetic attitude.
