Astley's is a plumbing and hardware store located in Dubbo owned, specialising in Plumbing, Hardware, Plaster, Industrial & Bathroom & Kitchen supplies. The Astley's business has approximately 35 employees, and services Dubbo and majority of the Western NSW. There aren't many buildings in the Dubbo area that Astley's haven't contributed to in some way.
About The Role
As the Counter Sales Consultant, you will be assisting customers with their selections and purchases from our amazing showrooms, working in our very new Astley's building.
You will focus on providing exceptions customer service and sales support across a wide range of products. You will be customer focused with product selection, managing stock levels and ensuring the store presentation standards are meet whilst supporting the wider team in meeting goals and sales targets. As the Counter Sales Consultant you will play a key role in customer satisfaction and in-store experience.
Responsibilities
* Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
* Assist customers in product selection, giving advice ad recommendations where needed.
* Maintain product knowledge across all departments including plumbing, timber, tools, civil products and building supplies.
* Work collaboratively with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure customer orders are fulfilled.
* Take pride and ownership of store appearance.
* Maintain showroom including presentation, cleanness, organized, priced correctly and fully stocked.
Knowledge & Experience
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong customer service focus
* Previous experience in similar role in retain hardware would be desirable
* Current driver's license
* Have a positive, can-do enthusiastic approach to work
