About the Opportunity

We are working with a state government client who is seeking a Program Support Officer to join their team on the Sunshine Coast.

Your new role

This role would suit a strong administrator who is looking to transition into Government or gain further experience in the sector.

* Ensure the delivery of receptionist services, management of conference room bookings, room and equipment database and processing catering requests, arrange business travel for regional staff and maintain systems to record these arrangements, undertake fleet management tasks as directed, including liaising with regional staff on vehicle replacements, arranging external vehicle hire and home garaging reporting.
* Provide administrative support including coordination of team meetings, taking and distributing minutes, documents and reports, establishing and maintaining spreadsheets and registers and providing timely information, updates and presentations as required.
* Provide effective assistance to staff to ensure tasks are completed within specified deadlines.
* Ensure operational practices and standards of service and performance comply with departmental and regional policies, legislation (incl. WH&S), and governance obligations.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:

* Experience working within an administration/reception role.
* Has the flexibility to pivot in a changing environment.
* Someone that has strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Contributes to the development of team objectives and recognises own role in achieving results.

* $51.13 Per Hour + Superannuation (Agency Contractor)
* Full time hours (38 hours p/w)
* On-site
* Weekly Pay Cycle
