We are seeking a friendly and professional Guest Services Agent to join our team at the Railway Motel and Function Centre in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia. As a full-time Guest Services Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless experience for our guests throughout their stay.
Responsibilities
* Greeting and assisting guests at the reception desk, responding to their queries and ensuring their needs are met
* Checking guests in and out efficiently and effectively, handling all associated administrative tasks
* Answering incoming calls, responding to email and other inquiries in a timely and courteous manner
* Maintaining a high level of product knowledge to provide recommendations and information to guests
* Handling cash and credit card transactions, processing payments and issuing receipts
* Responding to and resolving guest complaints and concerns in a professional manner
* Assisting with the coordination of guest requests, such as room service, housekeeping and concierge services
* Performing other administrative duties as required to support the smooth operation of the hotel
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a customer service or front office role, ideally within the hospitality industry
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanour
* Strong organisational and multi-tasking abilities, with the capacity to work well under pressure
* Proficient in using computer systems and hotel management software
* The ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
