Disability Support Role
This position involves providing essential assistance to individuals with disabilities during evening, overnight, and morning periods.
* Support Services: Offer active, person-centered support during defined active periods (17:30-21:30 and 06:00-07:30).
* Pet Care Assistance: Assist in the care and well-being of pets, primarily a dog.
* Safety & Security: Ensure client environment is safe and available to respond immediately to client needs during sleepover period (21:30 - 06:00).
* Documentation: Maintain accurate and confidential records and complete required shift reports.
* Flexibility: Work additional shifts and weekends as required by roster.
The successful candidate will have a demonstrated passion for working with people with disabilities, be comfortable with animals, and possess high degree of flexibility and ability to work weekends and additional shifts.
