Emergency Nurse Opportunity
The Mater Private Hospital Mackay is currently seeking dedicated and experienced Registered Nurses to join their team in the Emergency Care Centre on a permanent full-time basis.
About the role
The Emergency Care Centre at Mater Private Hospital Mackay is open 7 days a week, providing both adult and paediatric emergency services. Our centre is staffed by experienced emergency doctors and nursing staff who deliver exceptional clinical and pastoral care.
Key responsibilities and duties
* Achieve optimal patient outcomes throughout the patient journey and continuum of care
* Demonstrate exceptional clinical expertise and knowledge of procedures and the management of patients
* Implement strategies to ensure quality and risk management are integrated into service provision
* Work collaboratively with the nursing team to provide exceptional care every time
* Maintain current knowledge and skills to ensure continued professional growth
Requirements
* Currently AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (no restrictions)
* Previous experience in emergency care nursing highly regarded
* Excellent interpersonal communication and clinical problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
* Commitment to continued quality improvement and best practice principles
