A Day in the Life As Senior Demand Planner based in Melbourne, you sit within L'Oréal Consumer Products' Supply Chain team, partnering with Sales, Marketing and Finance to deliver reliable forecasts and balanced inventory.
- Forecasting & S&OP;: Lead sales forecast process for your portfolio; consolidate commercial, financial and historical inputs into consensus forecasts; support S&OP; cycles.
- Inventory & Catalogue Management: Monitor inventory levels, drive replenishment or mitigation actions, and contribute to catalogue rationalisation.
- Cross-functional Alignment: Challenge and consolidate promotion & launch forecasts with Marketing, Sales and Business Planning; communicate action plans to Supply Chain.
- Continuous Improvement & Expertise: Drive process improvements across S&OP;, act as the Supply Chain “professional expert”, and upskill stakeholders.
We Are Looking For You're an experienced Demand Planner who can translate data into business action and influence cross-functional stakeholders. You bring:
- 5+ years demand planning experience (FMCG preferred)
- Advanced Excel & forecasting tool experience; knowledge of stock management systems (SAP/IBP, Kinaxis, Anaplan etc.)
- Solid analytical skills and root-cause problem solving
- Strategic critical thinking and stakeholder management
- Process improvement mindset
