An established and community-focused aged care organisation is seeking a skilled Finance Manager to oversee financial operations, ensure compliance, and contribute to strategic decision-making.
Your new role
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will lead financial management functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, risk assessment, tax compliance, and team leadership. Your expertise will ensure the finance department operates efficiently while supporting organisational goals.
What you'll need to succeed
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in corporate accounting, preferably in a professional or commercial environment.
* Demonstrated experience in the Aged Care or NFP sector.
* Strong expertise in financial management, budgeting, and internal controls.
* Familiarity with ERP systems and financial reporting standards.
* Proven ability to manage financial risks, tax compliance, and audit processes.
* Leadership experience in managing finance teams and fostering a collaborative work culture.
* Exposure to the not-for-profit sector with an understanding of governance requirements.
* High integrity, stakeholder management skills, and a passion for community-focused initiatives.
* A successful police check (or willingness to obtain one).
