About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill this role. This position reports directly to the Commercial Manager and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to deliver exceptional client-focused solutions that drive business success.
- Manage shipping, customer, and office documentation formalities
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date customer details and client profiles
- Oversee order follow-up and maintenance of Order reports for customers
- Ensure timely billing/closing of all job files, issuance of credit notes, and internal expense reports at the end of each month
- Manage job file creation, costing, and other data entries
- Coordinate dispatch of shipping documents to customers and offices
- Arrange bookings with carriers/co-loaders and execute pertinent shipping documents
- Coordinate daily operations and transactions for freight forwarding and related activities
- Liaise with network offices and customers to secure optimal rates and services
- Handle customer rate & shipment queries
- Provide quotes to customers and overseas offices at profitable levels
- Develop new business from existing clients at a profitable level
- Promote and develop Bollore Logistics services
- Send timely pre-alerts and shipping advice to customers and offices
- Assist with rate sourcing with various carriers for destinations not in the service contract
- Collaborate with operational and warehouse staff to ensure client requirements are met

Requirements:

The Ideal Candidate

Essential:
- Minimum three years of experience
- Proficient knowledge of all freight forwarding facets
- Strong sea freight experience
Desirable:
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels and diverse cultural backgrounds
- Lateral thinking and ability to find quick practical solutions to problems
- Conflict resolution and diplomacy skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to develop existing business
- Capacity to respond to challenging circumstances under pressure
