Overview
Mining Senior Geotechnical Engineer - Hard Rock role at Infrastructure Business Growth. Base pay range: A$150,000.00/yr – A$180,000.00/yr. This role is part of an expanding, long-life operation with significant gold production targets in regional NSW.
Responsibilities
* Lead geotechnical strategy and execution across both underground and open pit operations at a long-life, high-performing mine.
* Oversee geotechnical design, monitoring, and risk management for UG and OP areas.
* Provide practical, site-based guidance to production and technical teams.
* Manage ground control systems, slope stability assessments, and geotechnical modelling.
* Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement in ground safety and efficiency.

What you'll bring
* Degree in Mining Engineering.
* Underground hard rock experience in drill & blast design and execution.
* Strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
* Proficiency in Vulcan, Deswik, ShotPlus, or similar.
