Ezra is seeking a full-time Chef with the right attitude and skills and at least 3 years of experience in a similar role.

* Set up the kitchen with needed cooking equipment, utensils such as pots, knives, chopping boards, bowls...to ensure everything is smooth and ready to serve customers
* Prepare, cook, and serve the good quality food and presentation in the timely manner for customers, in general, and customers with special dietary such as gluten free and coeliac,
dairy and lactose free, vegan, FOODMAP, fish or nut allergies..., in particular.
* Check out the bookings and functions of the next coming days to have plans to communicate with head chef to do order needed ingredients.
* Delegate tasks to kitchen staff.
* Adjust and modify the special needs of customers such as: Less salt, no spicy...
* Assist with the Head Chef to do the staff rosters.
* Discuss special ideas and assist with menu design with the Head Chef and Employer.
* Offer assistance and guidance to the kitchen staff as necessary, in order to ensure a positive experience for all customers
* Supervise kitchen staff and make sure the correct portions and follow the recipe.
* Manage stock take and stock rotation using FIFO method.
* Develop protocols to minimize food waste and implement procedures to ensure efficient use of ingredients, thereby reducing unnecessary disposal of food.
* Assist to do orderings and communicate with suppliers.
* Monitor kitchen facilities and equipment, tools...
* Monitor and enforce food safety and hygiene procedures in the kitchen, cold room, freezer
* Notify the service staff about menu specials and any unavailable menu items.
* Collaborate with the manager and front-of-house staff to address customers’ inquiries and resolve complaints
* Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and support the team in achieving their goals and meeting customers’ expectations.
* Assist management in hiring and training new staff.
* Perform others reasonable tasks and duties as assigned by the Head Chef and Employer.
* Ensure compliance with the company's policies and safety procedures.
Organize and set up the functions (weddings, birthdays, conferences....).
The ideal candidate will have
* Diploma of Hospitality Management or equivalent Experience/ Knowledge
* 3 years of experience in the similar role
