Allied Health Assistant – Ambulatory Rehabilitation
About the role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Allied Health Assistant to join our Wagga Wagga Ambulatory Rehabilitation Service. This is an opportunity to kick start your career in health, working collaboratively with our diverse Allied Health team while providing clinical and administrative support services.
Responsibilities
* Perform and assist with activities under the supervision and direction of treating Allied Health Professionals
* Provision of Therapy Programs as directed by Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists
* Maintaining a safe and supportive environment for patients and the multidisciplinary team
* Working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Employment Type: Temporary Part Time (from 11 May 2026 until 31 January 2027) Position Classification: Allied Health Assistant – Level 1-3 Remuneration: $63,177.29 - $71,429.33 per annum, pro rata (+ super +17.5% leave loading where applicable) Hours Per Week: up to 32 Requisition ID: REQ643608 Location: Wagga Wagga Base Hospital

Our ideal candidate will:
* Hold a Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (or formal commitment to complete this training within 3 years of employment, or relevant qualification and willingness to complete required skill sets.)
* Show effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate across all levels with internal and external stakeholders.
* Have demonstrated ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team, working collaboratively and effectively.
* Be flexible in approach to work duties to support multiple disciplines.
