Painter Blasters are part of a dedicated workforce known as the Asset Integrity Structural Remediation crew. This crew ensures maintenance tasks are executed at the Coal Handling and Processing Plant, providing preventative maintenance to sustain plant reliability and improve plant availability to exceed the CHPP Maintenance and Production performance targets.
Essential
- Certificate of Trade – Cert III in Surface Finishing/ Spray Painting / Automotive Refinishing
- Minimum 3 years recent Industrial Blast and Paint experience
- A positive and proactive approach to safety
- Commitment to working as part of a team
- Strong work ethic
Highly Desirable (or willing to obtain)
- Coal Board Medical
- BMA Core
- Working at Heights
- Confined Spaces
- Gas Test Atmospheres
