About the role:
This role is based in the Sunshine Coast region and is responsible for the movement of furniture and goods in and out of the Family Stores and Caloundra warehouse.
The role will also provide assistance in the overall productivity of the Family Stores and warehouse, in line with TSA mission.
How you will make an impact:
- Undertake the pickup and delivery of furniture and goods as per instructions from the relevant Family Store Manager and in accordance with the daily schedule, as per all WHS manual handling procedures/protocols.
- Provide excellent service as a primary customer contact for the Family Stores.
- Understand and determine the value of brands and quality furniture and products and carry out procedures related to TSA pickup protocols.
- Manage the timely removal of waste and bins to the local refuse centres.
- Provide retail floor assistance as needed including sorting, pricing and moving furniture and stock.
- Maintain a safe, clean and uncluttered workspace.
What will you bring:
- Demonstrated experience in driving commercial vehicles.
- Furniture delivery and pick-up experience highly regarded.
- Previous experience in a customer facing role.
- Current valid Driver's Licence.
- First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain.
- Knowledge of Work Health and Safety obligations and to practice these in the workplace in line with TSA policy, procedures and Legislation.
- A good level of fitness to carry out the duties of the position. This position will require physical ability to lift and carry furniture, stand, sit and walk for long periods time. The role will require you to push, pull, lift, carry, restrain stock and climb ladders etc. Such work will be undertaken in accordance with WHS policies and procedures.
