One of our key government clients is looking for an experienced account payable officer. This Department develops standards that regulate the use of ingredients, processing aids, colourings, additives, vitamins and minerals. The Department also covers the composition of some foods, such as dairy, meat and beverages as well as foods developed by new technologies such as genetically modified foods. The department is also responsible for some labelling requirements for packaged and unpackaged food.
Your new role
- Accounts processing experience
- Self-starter
- Entering invoices into the TechOne
- Processing weekly supplier payment runs
- Checking and querying vendor statements
- Accounts Receivable tasks including creating invoices
- Preparation of bank reconciliation
- Performing other ad hoc tasks as required by their supervisor
