About the role
Negus Enterprises PTY LTD is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Dairy Operator- Farm Assistant to join our farming operations in Busselton, Western Australia. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary and the opportunity to work in a dynamic agricultural environment.
What you'll be doing
Assist with the daily operations of our dairy farm, including milking, feeding, and general animal care
Maintain the cleanliness and order of the dairy facilities and equipment
Operate basic farm machinery and equipment, such as tractors, tele handler
Monitor the health and wellbeing of the dairy herd, administering medication where required, and report any issues to the farm manager
Contribute to the overall efficiency and productivity of the farm
What we're looking for
Previous experience working on a dairy farm or in a similar agricultural setting
Strong practical skills in milking and maintaining dairy equipment
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of animal welfare and biosecurity
Good physical fitness and the ability to perform physical labour as required
A positive, team-oriented attitude and the willingness to learn and adapt
