English Teacher Role

About the Role
This role involves teaching English up to VCE level, empowering students with academic confidence and a passion for learning, an understanding of obligations to the community, social competence, leadership capacity, compassion for others, good physical and emotional health, and an understanding of Christian faith and spirituality.
* To commence term 4 or by negotiation
* Full-time, ongoing role (applicants seeking part-time are also encouraged to apply)
Key Responsibilities
* Teach English up to VCE level
* Empower students with academic confidence and a passion for learning
* Understand obligations to the community, social competence, leadership capacity, compassion for others, good physical and emotional health, and an understanding of Christian faith and spirituality
Requirements
* Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration (or ability to obtain), including a VIT-approved teaching qualification
* Ability to demonstrate and authentically promote Ballarat Grammar's values
* Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in teaching English up to VCE level
* Effective strategies to gather, analyse and act on student data to improve learning outcomes for each student
