About the Role
Reporting to Senior Management, you will take ownership of testing and commissioning activities from tender through to project delivery and operational readiness. This is a pivotal role ensuring all high voltage assets are commissioned safely, efficiently, and in line with client, contractual, and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and coordinate commissioning teams across projects, ensuring seamless delivery from planning through to handover.
* Oversee preparation, execution, and documentation of all testing and commissioning activities in line with technical, safety, and contractual requirements.
* Manage quality assurance, risk mitigation, and stakeholder relationships, including subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
* Deliver operator training and ensure the smooth transition of commissioned assets into service.
About You
* Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) with extensive high-voltage expertise.
* 15+ years' experience in commissioning and completion of substations, transmission lines, and renewable generation projects.
* Strong leadership skills with proven success in managing teams, subcontractors, and complex project delivery.
* Excellent stakeholder and client relationship management, with the ability to influence and deliver outcomes.
