Alliance Distribution Services (ADS) is a leading book distribution company in Australia & New Zealand, providing comprehensive distribution services, and exceptional customer service to our client publishers and their bookselling customers. ADS is fully owned and operated by Hachette Australia.
We are looking for Warehouse Operatives to join our busy warehouse team on on a Fixed Term Contract for a period of 3 months, beginning in Oct 2025. You will work together with our excellent warehouse teams in an array of duties to deliver the best possible distribution outcomes.
ABOUT THE ROLE
•Multiskilled warehouse work, including picking and packing, inventory, returns processing and additional warehouse tasks.
•Monday to Friday
•We are currently looking to strengthen our PM shift (2:55 PM – 11:00 PM). New team members will initially start on the AM shift (9:30am – 2:30pm) for training purposes, with a planned transition to the PM shift once training is complete.
•Fixed Term 3 month contract, Fulltime 38 hours per week.
WE’RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS
•Positive attitude and good communication skills.
•Great attention to detail.
•Ability to take instructions and then execute task independently.
•Can work well as part of a team.
Desirable but not essential:
•Previous pick, pack or warehouse experience
•RF scanner experience
•Excel skills
•Previous experience with inventory related tasks
•LF or LO licence
