Responsibilities
Your primary responsibilities will include creating a safe and nurturing workplace where young people feel secure and cared for; fostering a sense of identity and belonging among the youth you support; facilitating the development of positive and trusting connections with family, friends, and the community; encouraging and enabling young people to reach their full potential through learning and personal growth; promoting healthy lifestyle choices and facilitating access to healthcare services; and supporting the development of strong social and interpersonal skills.
In addition to these core responsibilities, you will also be expected to:
* Maintain a clean and protected living setting within the residential care home.
* Manage day-to-day tasks related to the operation of the residential care home.
* Complete verbal and written reports as required.
* Sleepover shifts are often a requirement of this role.

Work details
* Availability: Need to be available to work minimum 3 - 4 shifts per week encompassing weekends, evenings and night shifts as required.
* Location: Northside Brisbane - Caboolture/ Narangba Area.
* Qualifications: Must be prepared to enrol or are studying a recognised qualification to be a youth worker under departmental guidelines.
* Job Type: Casual

* Licence/Certification: Driver Licence (preferred); Paid Blue Card (preferred)
