About the Rol
As part of the Group Finance function, you will take responsibility for preparing, analysing and reporting on the financial performance of the business across multiple entities. Working closely with the Group Accounting Manager and the broader finance team, you will play a key role in improving reporting turnaround times and strengthening the organisation's capability in financial reporting, planning and analysis.
You will be responsible for delivering timely, accurate and meaningful financial information to support informed business decision‑making, while contributing to continuous improvement across financial processes and workflows.
You'll be responsible for:
* Preparing and managing month‑end reporting across multiple entities, including end‑of‑month journals, balance sheet reconciliations and close activities
* Ensuring month‑end close processes are completed accurately and within required time frames.
* Preparing and analysing management information, including Sales Reports and Profit & Loss statements, with clear commentary and actionable recommendations
* Assisting with the preparation and review of monthly board reporting packs
* Supporting the preparation of annual budgets and ongoing forecasts
* Assisting with year‑end audit processes, including audit schedules and liaison with auditors
* Providing support for lease accounting and related reporting requirements
* Identifying and implementing improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial processes and workflows
* Performing ad hoc duties as required by the Group Accounting Manager
What We're Looking For
You'll succeed in this role if you bring:
* A minimum of five years' experience in a similar role, with demonstrated capability in management reporting, budget preparation and business analytics
* CA or CPA qualification
* Strong accounting expertise with a hands‑on approach, particularly during month‑end close
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with strong data manipulation and reporting capability
* Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Power BI or equivalent business intelligence tools; database and SQL experience highly regarded
* A proactive, curious and self‑motivated approach with strong analytical capability
* Exceptional attention to detail and a high standard of accuracy
* Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage professionally with Management and Senior Management
* A collaborative mindset and the ability to work closely with the broader finance team and stakeholders
