About the Role
Reporting to the Wellbeing & Engagement Coordinator, you'll work across our residential aged care sites and community centre to:
Support resident participation in both planned and spontaneous activities
Lead small group sessions, events, and creative engagement opportunities
Collaborate with house companions, volunteers, and clinical teams
Provide individualised support based on residents' interests and care needs
Document participation and communicate observations
About You
You are energetic, empathetic, and love working in a people-first environment. You bring initiative, creativity, and patience to every interaction and you genuinely care about supporting older people to live their best lives.
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to adapt activities to suit a variety of needs
Excellent time management and teamwork skills
National Police Check suitable for aged care
Current Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (NDIS-endorsed)
Dementia specific training
Experience supporting people living with dementia
Confidence using Microsoft Office and care documentation systems
