We're a growing, fiercely driven personal injury practice based in Rockhampton and we're looking for someone just as sharp and committed to join us as our receptionist and office admin assistant.This role is the heartbeat of our front-of-house operations. As the first point of contact for clients and visitors, you’ll set the tone for the warm, professional and client-focused experience we pride ourselves on.Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 4:00pmLocation: Rockhampton, QLD (in office)Who We’re Looking ForWe need someone with a can-do attitude, who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and pitch in - whether it’s making a coffee for a client, supporting our solicitors with file work, or assisting in court filing. We’re a startup, which means we’re all in this together: there’s no task too big or too small and no hierarchy when it comes to getting the job done.If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, value teamwork, and want to be part of something we’re all building from the ground up, you’ll fit right in.Key ResponsibilitiesGreet clients and answer incoming calls with professionalism and warmthPrepare tea and coffee for clients and visitorsMaintain a clean and welcoming kitchen area (including stacking the dishwasher and taking out bins)Manage incoming and outgoing mail (scanning, saving, hand delivering locally if required)Perform court filing and generate correspondence as directedOrganise and maintain WorkCover filesLiaise with third parties such as Medicare, Centrelink and private health fundsArrange client appointments and compile meeting packsUpload invoices and provide basic admin support to solicitorsWhat You BringPrevious experience in a receptionist or administrative role (legal or professional services preferred but not essential)Exceptional interpersonal and communication skillsHighly organised with great attention to detailWillingness to learn and take initiative in a dynamic officeProfessional presentation and a friendly attitudeConfidence using basic office software (Microsoft Office, PDF tools, scanning, etc.)Must have 2 credible referencesWhy Join Us?A tight-knit, supportive and down-to-earth teamA fun, hardworking environment where you’ll never be boredThe opportunity to grow with a firm that’s on the riseReal impact—your work won’t go unnoticedThis role is perfect for someone eager to dive into the hustle of a growing startup-style law firm - where no two days are the same, and you’ll be hands-on with everything from admin to client care.
