Apprentice Mechanical Fitter (Water Infrastructure) TRS Resourcing is seeking a motivated Apprentice Mechanical Fitter to join a dynamic engineering company that is a market leader in the construction of Large-scale commercial Water Infrastructure. This apprenticeship role combines structured on-the-job training with formal training (TAFE/Registered Training Organisation) toward obtaining a Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade. You will work alongside experienced tradespeople to learn mechanical fitting, assembly, maintenance, and repair of industrial machinery and mechanical systems Key Responsibilities Assist qualified tradespeople with assembly, installation, maintenance and repair of mechanical components, machinery, and equipment. Learn to interpret technical drawings, parts lists, work instructions, and diagrams. Use hand and power tools safely to mark out, fit, shape, and assemble components under supervision. Carry out routine checks, inspections and basic fault diagnosis to support maintenance activities. Support workshop activities, including cleaning, tool setup, and organising work areas. Adhere to company safety policies, quality standards, and workplace health and safety requirements at all times.
