Administration and Finance Officer

Part time, 25 hours, 5 days - school based hours

About the Business: Elephant Hills Australia:

Elephant Hills Australia is the first Jungle Camp in Thailand fusing African-inspired, custom-made tents with the beautifully diverse rain forest environment of the area. The ultimate 'Glamping Experience' We have two camps, the Elephant Camp and the floating Rainforest Camp, which are both located in Khao Sok, Southern Thailand.

About the Role:

The Finance and Administration Officer provides critical operational support by providing a range of finance and administrative services, including reception and general administration duties as set out by the Office Manager. This role will closely with the Office Manager as well as our external support contractors and our office in Thailand. This role will be responsible for managing their own time, planning and organising their workload.

About You:

Our ideal candidate must demonstrate:

* Working knowledge of finance systems in particular use of XERO
* Previous experience in finance and/or administrative roles
* Knowledge of principles and practices of records management and general administration.
* Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, multi-task and meet deadlines
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) with the demonstrated ability to engage effectively with a variety of stakeholders
* A courteous and friendly manner and helpful "can do "attitude.
* Computer literacy particularly in office – Microsoft word, excel, outlook and SharePoint.
* Ability to operate standard office equipment, including but not limited to, computers, telephone systems, copiers and scanners.

Formal qualifications in Business Administration, Finance, or related field is desirable but not essential.
