Change Manager Opportunity
About the role:
We are seeking a skilled Change Manager to work closely with project managers and business owners to successfully prepare for, manage through and embed change delivered through strategic projects.
* Work across multiple business units to understand the change purpose, impacts and the environment in which the change will be delivered.
* Take a 'hands-on' approach to support the project delivery, focusing on the implementation of key change management activities including engagement, communications and training to achieve the desired outcome.
* Take a cross-functional perspective to change management - understand cross-business impacts.
* Work in a decentralised model embedded in project teams to ensure effective delivery and benefit realisation.
This is a hands-on role with accountability to stakeholders across multiple teams; the ability to influence and collaborate is a must. Some of your regular tasks will include:
* Develop Business Change Management Plans to support effective project implementation to realise benefits whilst maintaining alignment to the overall strategy and principles.
* Identify business change impacts based on impact assessments, stakeholder analysis, business requirements and business readiness. Integrate into project implementation plans.
* Work across business units and understand competing priorities, needs and cross-functional impacts.
* Project management: Consult with project managers and business owners and make recommendations regarding business readiness, scheduling and risks.
* Project effectiveness: Lead business analysts, testers, trainers and communications specialists to deliver the necessary change activities.
About you and your experience:
* Solid hands-on project change delivery skills
* Prior experience managing change in Agile project environments
* Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
* Working hands on to deliver projects and have the ability to prioritise and organise effectively and drive action amongst SMEs.
* Strong customer focus and understanding of organisational context.
* Distinctive strength is in knowing how to work with, and coach, people to get things done and deliver maximum impact across business units.
* Highly developed written and spoken communication. An active listener.
* Business process mapping
* Be able to manage and influence multiple stakeholders with varying levels of engagement and commitment.
* Commercial thinking - ability to frame change management in a relevant way to business stakeholders.
