The way that this role will make an impact at Ubank is by significantly enhancing our digital experience by focusing on streamlining complex user journeys, making them more intuitive and user‐friendly. By conducting user research, creating wireframes, and implementing user‐centered design principles, the designer would help reduce friction points in key processes, potentially increasing conversion rates and customer satisfaction. The designer would also ensure our products are presented clearly and accessibly, helping customers make informed decisions while maintaining our digital‐first approach.
This is a 12 month maximum term role.
Key Responsibilities
* Create user flows and wireframes
* Conduct user research and testing
* Design intuitive user interfaces
* Maintain design system and documentation
* Ensure accessibility standards
* Collaborate with product and engineering teams
* Create interactive prototypes
* Analyze user feedback and metrics
* Lead design reviews and presentations
* Stay updated with design trends
* Optimize for mobile and desktop experiences
* Implement user‐centered design principles

* Handle multiple projects simultaneously
* Document design decisions and rationale
Your Experience
* 4+ years in professional UX/Product design, preferably in startup/scale‐up environments.
* Proficiency in Lean UX, rapid customer delivery, and a detail‐oriented, customer‐centric approach.
* Strong Figma proficiency, interface design experience, collaboration, and exceptional communication abilities. A plus if you have experience delivering motion designs too.
* Experienced in user research, information architecture, wireframing, prototyping, interaction design, usability testing, and collaboration with cross‐functional teams.
* Bachelor's degree in UX design or related field.
* Proven UX Design experience with a robust portfolio showcasing design work and process.
* Strong problem‐solving skills, familiarity with usability principles, excellent communication, and collaboration abilities.
* Exposure to agile development processes and front‐end development skills (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) are advantageous.
