Provide high-level, efficient, professional and confidential administration support to the Smoking Reduction - Intelligence and Operations team. The Smoking Reduction - Intelligence and Operations team includes public health officers, environmental health officers, and compliance officers, who support the administration and enforcement of the Tobacco and Other Smoking Products Act 1998 across Queensland. What you'll do * Participate in and support the development and implementation of processes and systems for the effective and efficient administration of the functions of the Smoking Reduction - Intelligence and Operations team. * Co-ordinate the production and distribution of correspondence, memorandums, legislative notices and other documents specific to smoking reduction intelligence and operational functions. * Facilitate effective liaison between key stakeholders within and external to the Prevention Strategy Branch, such as but not limited to the Branch's Business Services team, Hospital and Health Services, other Divisions within the Department of Health, and state and national regulatory partners. * Facilitate and provide secretariat functions for relevant meetings by organising and scheduling meetings, sourcing and organising venues, coordinating attendance and completing confidential minute recording and distribution. About you We are searching for someone who has: * Demonstrated experience in delivering high-level administrative and program support including the ability to organise and coordinate multiple tasks within agreed priorities, timeframes and accountabilities. * Demonstrated analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills. * Proven verbal and written communication skills that demonstrate attention to detail, including documentation and record-keeping skills and the proficient use of email, electronic diaries and Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Teams. * Ability to work autonomously and as a team member in a high-performing, multi-disciplinary team.
