About The Role
We are seeking a Test Analyst to play a critical role in supporting the quality, stability and reliability of our Primary Health Insights (PHI) systems.
In this role, you will analyse system requirements, plan and execute comprehensive test activities, identify defects, coordinate System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and ensure PHI system releases meet the highest standards of quality.
You will work closely with project managers, analysts, architects, developers, PHNs, vendors and end-users across all stages of the testing lifecycle.
Location: WAPHA Head Office, Level 2, 1 Hood Street, Subiaco (Hybrid Role)
Employment Type: Max term until 30 th June 2027
Salary: Band 4 ($91-$97k Plus 12% Superannuation)
Key Tasks And Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To
Analyse business, functional and design requirements to develop high-level test scenarios.
Estimate test effort, time and resources required for test planning, scripting, execution and reporting.
Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, test reports and user‑focused test documentation.
Coordinate SIT and UAT, ensuring effective communication of results to stakeholders.
Identify, record, track and retest defects, working closely with vendors and internal teams for resolution.
Support ongoing improvements to PHI's test frameworks, methodologies and tools.
Maintain stable test environments and ensure complete end‑to‑end test coverage.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the PHI testing lifecycle.
About You
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following selection criteria:
Essential Experience And Education
Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science or a similar discipline.
Minimum 3-4 years of experience as a Test Analyst.
Extensive experience across all phases of IT systems testing.
Strong skills in System, Integration, Performance and User Acceptance testing.
Experience developing and executing test plans, test estimates and test cases, including SIT scenarios.
Proven experience as a Software QA Analyst or Test Analyst within a software development environment.
Ability to run and coordinate testing activities and provide clear status reporting.
Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries for database testing.
Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with high attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences.
