This role is the first senior marketing hire for an award winning, scale up insurtech business.
A strategic and highly operational role; you will shape marketing strategy while also executing campaigns, managing day‑to‑day marketing activity, and mentoring an internal design & comms lead.
The business is a rapidly scaling embedded freight‑insurance company, transforming how businesses move goods with confidence, in a sector that’s projected to have significant growth over the next 5 years.
As they expand, marketing is becoming one of the 5 core pillars of their growth strategy: brand, digital, product marketing, content, and analytics.
We are looking for a skilled, hands‑on Senior Marketeer with strong B2B experience, ideally in SaaS, fintech, insurtech, or logistics.
This person must be exceptionally strong in setting up, managing, and optimising nurture journeys that drive conversion, retention, and partner activation a high‑performing marketing function from the ground up.
You should be confident operating autonomously, comfortable making data‑driven decisions, and love getting your hands into the nitty gritty.
A key part of the role is ownership of CRM acquisition workflows and lifecycle marketing, ensuring that partners and customers are guided through cohesive, personalised nurture pathways.
As the business scales, you will play a key role in defining team structure, expanding across D2C, and contributing directly to revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and own the company’s marketing strategy across brand, digital, partnerships, product marketing and conversion optimisation.
* Oversee the creation of marketing collateral, sales enablement material, and product documentation.
* Build, refine, and optimise CRM workflows and nurture journeys that drive lead conversion, partner onboarding, and customer expansion.
* Own digital marketing execution including website optimisation, paid social, and email marketing, identifying the right agencies or freelancers required in order to execute.
* Develop and execute multi‑channel B2B campaigns including launches, partner programs, webinars, trade shows, and thought‑leadership.
* Oversee content production across blog posts, case studies, guides, newsletters, and social media.
* Work with external agencies or freelancers when necessary, managing budgets and deliverables.
* Identify future marketing capability gaps and help shape the buildout of our marketing team as we grow.
What we’re looking for
* 10+years of hands‑on marketing experience, ideally in B2B SaaS, fintech, insurtech, or logistics/transport.
* Demonstrated expertise in building and optimising nurture journeys and CRM‑driven lifecycle marketing.
* Proven ability to own a marketing function—strategy through execution.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate complex ideas into clear messaging.
