ORS are seeking skilled Psychologists who are passionate about helping workers return to work after illness or injury.

Our Workplace Rehabilitation & Health team have experienced tremendous growth in the last 3 months and we have tremendous opportunities available for AHPRA registered Psychologists to join our team in Sydney. You can choose from three office locations – Mew Lambton, Maitland or Gosford with free onsite parking at each. ORS employs over 200 Psychologists across Australia, including over 70 Provisional Psychologists receiving full primary & secondary Supervision.

Responsibilities

* Be responsible for providing specialist psychological recovery and rehabilitation services to workers/employees with psychological illness or injuries.
* Administer evidence‐based psychological assessments of workers' strengths as well as their perceived obstacles to returning to work, including relevant psychometric and vocational inventory testing and result interpretation.
* Learn to apply new evidence‐based practices that increase successful return‐to‐work outcomes and understand stakeholder needs and circumstances without bias, low expectations, or implied judgments.
* Establish new interventions such as forming a rehabilitation alliance, motivational interviewing for resolving ambivalence, assessing jobs and workplaces, reviewing and redesigning job demands, mediation, and measuring productivity.
* Support a manageable caseload of workers for whose outcomes you are primarily responsible.
* Provide discipline‐specific services, i.e. psychological functional assessments, to other workers when appropriate.
* Work within an experienced multidisciplinary and psychological team of similarly passionate professionals facilitating return to work across several contracts using psychological skills to maximise return‐to‐work goal attainments.
* Oversee and coordinate workers' health treatment to ensure it is evidence‐based and supports timely return to work or better productivity.
* Become known as a trusted psychological service provider, highly effective, and always available and willing to communicate appropriately with other key stakeholders.

Who You Are

* Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, with Provisional or General Registration with AHPRA.
* Have a vehicle and a current driver's licence.
* Willing to obtain or already hold a National Police Clearance, Working With Children/Vulnerable People Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance for client‐facing roles.
