About Inland Rail

The Inland Rail Program is a 1600km rail infrastructure project stretching from Brisbane to Melbourne incorporating new and existing rail track. The program includes the upgrading of existing standard gauge track, the enhancement of existing standard gauge track to cater for double stacking and the construction of new standard gauge links comprising of viaducts, tunnels, rail track, crossings and bridges.

About the opportunity

Our goal is to support the Project Manager - Interfaces in managing key delivery stakeholders for the Albury to Parkes Enhancements Program (A2P Enhancements). We aim to achieve this by coordinating across the delivery team and broader Inland Rail project team to ensure a consistent, compliant and strategic approach to stakeholder interfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist in coordinating with key delivery stakeholders.
* Establish, track and manage deliverables of Works Authorisation Deeds (WADs) with TfNSW in accordance with the Master Framework Agreement.
* Coordinate with the Independent Verifier in undertaking their role.
* Coordinate with our internal Communications and Stakeholder teams as it relates to key delivery stakeholders.
* Ensure council requirements are administered as established under the Master Inland Rail Development Agreements (MIRDAs).
* Assist with administering, engaging and complying with third party agreements including access licences and utilities agreements.
* Assist with establishing and administering property and access agreements, licences and adjustments.
* Monitor various consultants and contractors involved in the project and the overall Inland Rail Programme as it relates to the above interface activities.
* Assist the ITC contractor in developing, coordinating, complying and reviewing third party approvals, authorisation and utilities works packages, to achieve the project's requirements and deliverables.
* Assist in preparing contract documentation, correspondence and submissions to gain approvals, both internally and externally, at various management delegations.
* Assist in administering contracts to ensure prompt assessment of claims and finalisation of contract documentation.
* Assist in financial forecasting and reporting on allocated projects.
* Monitor and report on contractor performance and progress, including operational readiness, quality, safety and environmental objectives, to support the delivery of the project.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need great interpersonal skills, be a strategic thinker, well-versed in collaboration, influencing and adaptable. You must demonstrate great communication and presentation skills, as this role is pivotal in collaborating with various key internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

* Degree in civil engineering or equivalent qualifications.
* Experience in a multi-disciplinary engineering or infrastructure environment.
* Experience in delivering CSSI rail and/or road projects.
* Demonstrable ability to work in an organised and well-ordered manner.
* Highly developed communication and presentation skills.
* Highly developed problem resolution and interpersonal skills.
* Demonstrated commercial acumen.
* Sound knowledge of Contract management and TfNSW Standards and Specifications.
