Job Overview
We are seeking a seasoned expert to provide strategic input into the preparation of heritage reports, including appraisals, assessments, impact statements, and management plans.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare a full range of heritage reports, including appraisals, assessments, impact statements, and management plans.
* Craft and direct the work of junior team members and subconsultants.
* Conduct thorough research, site inspections, and report writing.
* Provide expert heritage advice and appraisals, including audits, assessments, and analysis.
* Lead or contribute to the preparation of conservation and heritage management plans.
* Review and edit the work of others to produce final reports.
* Assist with preparing and coordinating submissions for new projects.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in architecture, history, planning, heritage management, or archaeology.
* Extensive experience in the heritage consulting or architectural sector as a senior consultant.
* Strong project management and organizational skills.
* Proven ability to lead and mentor junior team members.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat Standard.
* In-depth knowledge of key heritage regulatory requirements.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Advanced skills in report templating and graphics.
