We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Support Workers. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting people with disabilities to live independently and participate fully in their communities.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with daily living tasks such as personal care, medication management, and mobility support;
* Provide transport and social support to enable individuals to engage in community activities;
* Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and provide feedback to relevant stakeholders;
* Develop and maintain professional relationships with customers, families, caregivers, and key stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Appropriate certificate level qualification in Disability or Community Services/individual support or R equivalent relevant experience in the human services industry;
* Valid NSW Drivers C class licence, with the ability to drive vehicles in licence class, including large cars and vans;
* Must be fit to undertake the physical requirements of customer support, including the capacity to lift 10 kilograms unassisted;
* Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office and other common systems (desirable);
* Experience working with people with disabilities, mental health conditions, and advanced knowledge of NDIS services and programs (desirable).
