Your next career opportunity

As Associate Director, Principal and Major Gifts at MDHS, you'll spearhead high-impact fundraising initiatives, managing a portfolio of 50-75 major donors capable of seven -figure gifts. You'll play a crucial role in developing and implementing faculty-wide fundraising strategies, collaborating with senior leadership to maximise financial outcomes for MDHS priorities. This role offers you the opportunity to directly influence the future of healthcare through transformative philanthropy.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Manage High-Value Donor Portfolio: Cultivate and steward 50-75 major prospective donors, focusing on securing major and principal gift level donations for MDHS priorities.

- Develop Fundraising Strategies: Lead the creation and implementation of faculty-wide fundraising strategies,

- Provide Expert Guidance: Advise junior staff and senior University leadership on optimised fundraising strategies and outcomes.

- Ensure Donor Stewardship: Collaborate with Donor Relations teams to implement appropriate recognition and stewardship programs.

You may be a excellent fit if:

You are an experienced fundraising professional with a proven track record in securing major gifts, possessing excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to develop and execute successful fundraising strategies in a complex organisational environment.

You may also:

- Have a post-graduate qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent extensive experience in major gift fundraising.

- Possess demonstrated experience in developing and executing successful fundraising strategies

- Have a strong record of identifying, cultivating, and stewarding high-value donor relationships.

- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, suitable for engaging with diverse stakeholders.

- Show proficiency in budget management and strategic planning.

- Have experience working in higher education advancement, with knowledge of sector trends.
