We invite you to join Coptic Aged Care, a 52-bed premium aged care facility, as the Aged Care Facility Manager, where your expertise will further our mission of Cherishing the Elderly with Excellence in Care.
Responsibilities
* Deliver Exceptional Care: Lead the facility in providing high-quality, resident-centred care, ensuring that every individual receives compassionate, dignified, and expert person-centred support.
* Uphold Standards and Compliance: Ensure the facility meets all compliance requirements of the Aged Care Act and Accreditation Standards, maintaining a culture of safety and quality assurance.
* Strategic Leadership: Oversee operational management, including strategic planning and financial management, to enhance service delivery and the well-being of residents.
* Engage with Residents and Families and the Wider Community: Foster strong relationships with residents and their families, providing clear communication and support to promote a sense of community and belonging.
* Empower Staff: Lead, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary team of professionals who are committed to delivering exceptional care, while promoting ongoing education and professional development.
* Champion Continuous Improvement: Implement and drive quality improvement across all areas of care and service delivery, ensuring we continuously improve best practice standards.
Qualifications and Experience
* Registered Nurse: Current AHPRA registration and at least 3 years of operational management experience in a Residential Aged Care Setting (minimum 40-bed facility preferred).
* In-depth Knowledge: Significant understanding of the Aged Care Act, AN-ACC assessment processes, and accreditation compliance.
* Proven Leadership: Demonstrated success in leading and supporting a dedicated team, with a genuine commitment to quality improvement and compassionate aged care services.
* Outstanding Communication Skills: Superior written and verbal communication abilities to effectively manage and engage with residents, families, and staff.
* Financial Acumen: Competence in financial management, including budget preparation and resource management, ensuring sustainability and high-quality service delivery.
* Relevant Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field are an advantage.
* Educational Requirements: Bachelor\'s degree in Nursing or equivalent healthcare qualification
* Background Check: Current National Police Certificate (or ability to obtain one prior to commencement)
* Work Eligibility: Full-time Australian working rights (citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work visa)
