WHS Officer Role
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a WHS Officer. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and collaborative work environment.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy working environment for all staff members. This will involve implementing and maintaining effective workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
* Developing and implementing workplace health and safety plans and procedures;
* Conducting regular workplace inspections to identify potential hazards;
* Providing training and guidance to staff on workplace health and safety practices and procedures;
* Maintaining accurate records of workplace incidents and near misses;
* Liaising with relevant stakeholders, including employees, management and external agencies, to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need:
* A strong understanding of workplace health and safety principles and practices;
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
* High level of organizational and time management skills;
* Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
