Head Medical is seeking motivated Obstetrics & Gynaecology Doctors who have completed O&G Core Training or Trust Grade doctors (PGY4/PGY5 equivalent) to join the dynamic Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department at Bundaberg Hospital.

* Be part of a teaching hospital contributing to medical student education and Intern/RMO doctor training.
* Competitive Salary AUD $133,848–$154,749 (commensurate with experience)
The Role
Bundaberg Hospital is part of the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service, providing comprehensive health services, including O&G, emergency, paediatrics, surgery, mental health, and specialist outpatient care to Bundaberg, North Burnett, Fraser Coast, and parts of Gladstone.
* Provide comprehensive O&G clinical care under supervision, including daily ward rounds, labour ward management, outpatient clinics, and after‑hours shifts.
* Participate in obstetric emergencies and acute gynaecological care, including assessment, investigation, and procedure assistance.
* Supervise, assess, and mentor RMO’s, interns, and medical students, contributing to teaching and professional development programs.
* Participate in continuing medical education, clinical audits, quality improvement, and research initiatives.
* Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient‑centred care across the hospital.
Essential Requirements
* Eligible for registration with AHPRA via the competent authority pathway.
* A minimum of 12 months O&G experience post foundation training.
* Ability to work shifts, including nights and after‑hours.
