Role: Field Service Technician (Industrial A Grade Electrician)
Location: Melbourne. Attractive remuneration package with outstanding overtime opportunities.
What You Will Be Working On
* Hands‐on role delivering high‐quality electrical and mechanical support.
* Contract repair, preventive maintenance, installations and emergency breakdown services for Dematic customers in the Melbourne region.
* Participation in the on‐call roster and flexibility to work overtime, including some weekends.
* Flexible to work day and afternoon shifts as part of the work roster.
Tasks & Qualifications
* Experience in troubleshooting/problem solving equipment faults.
* Strong customer focus and quality service delivery.
* Australian Electrical trade licence (or restricted licence considered).
* PLC experience in Siemens S7 and SCADA WIN CC is ideal.
* Experience in automation (conveyors) and material handling equipment highly regarded.
* Experience in computerised maintenance systems (CMMS).
* Experience in mechanical and pneumatic systems.
* Experience in hydraulic systems an advantage.
* Ability to work unsupervised, make decisions and be results driven.
* Strong understanding of WHS requirements and safe work practices.
* Current driver's licence mandatory.
* Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
