Position: Bookkeeper / Administration Officer

Location: Carrum Downs

Employment Type: Part Time

This part-time position requires 25-30 hours per week.

About Planning Notices R Us

Since 2008, Planning Notices R Us has provided professional public notification services for planning applications across Melbourne and Victoria. We work with Town Planners, Surveyors, Developers, Architects, Lawyers and Councils to ensure planning application notices are prepared, displayed, and managed with precision and compliance.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised Bookkeeper / Administration Officer to support both the financial and operational sides of the business. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently, managing daily bookkeeping tasks, and providing general administrative assistance to keep the business running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage accounts payable and receivable
* Reconcile bank statements and prepare financial reports
* Process invoices, payments, and expenses
* Liaise with clients and suppliers regarding billing and accounts
* Maintain accurate records in Xero
* Payroll and superannuation
* Coordinate schedules, bookings, and client orders
* Handle phone and email correspondence
* Prepare and file documents, statutory declarations, and project records
* Provide general administrative support the Operations Manager, Field Staff and Directors

Skills and Experience:

* Proven experience in bookkeeping and administration
* Minimum 3-5 years of bookkeeping experience required
* Advanced features knowledge of Xero is required
* Experience with Payroll is required
* Strong attention to detail and time management
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* Familiarity with Victorian planning processes (advantageous but not essential)
