You will operate a Council van to deliver and collect materials for libraries, cultural events and programs, as well as support the movement of social history and visual art objects. Your work will span multiple sites throughout Lake Macquarie and includes transporting equipment, assisting with event setup and maintaining the smooth flow of resources across our Arts, Culture and Tourism facilities. You will also provide updates on delivery schedules, liaise with facility leaders and assist with maintenance tasks related to assets, furniture and equipment. This role involves working independently, taking initiative and offering excellent customer service at every site you visit. Enjoy a balanced work week with an eight‑hour roster on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Prefer shorter hours over more days? We're open to discussing a five‑day arrangement for the right candidate. You will have a strong sense of organisation and timeliness, enjoy working with people and enjoy working across a variety of work tasks and work locations. The role involves lifting large and occasionally heavy items with the assistance of equipment and hand tools, so strong physical ability and dexterity is key.
