Our client has quietly built one of the most nurturing, respected psychology practices in the Illawarra. With a loyal referral stream and a trusted reputation, this boutique clinic supports a broad client base (think private referrals, NDIS, WorkCover) with presentations ranging from trauma to chronic pain, anxiety, and family/relationship issues. You'll join a close-knit team of down-to-earth professionals who've worked together for years. There's a strong sense of community and genuine care here.
Whether you prefer working with adults, children, or both, your special interests are welcomed. And while there's flexibility for some telehealth, this isn't a remote role, you'll be part of the heart and soul of a face-to-face practice that values connection.
Your Duties will Include:
* Deliver high-quality psychological care to a diverse client base, including adults (and optionally children)
* Conduct assessments, therapy sessions, and reporting, with no direct KPIs. You're trusted to do your best work
* Collaborate with an expert team while enjoying the autonomy of managing your own clients
* Work from a charming heritage clinic in the heart of Wollongong with optional telehealth flexibility
Requirements/ Skills:
* Experience in private practice
* Experience working with children is highly preferred but not essential
* Present skills that cater for an area of specialty such as relationship counselling, working with children or WorkCover/NDIS-specialist work
* AHPRA registration as a General Psychologist
* Full Australian Work Rights
