About you:
* Small Engine Mechanic experience, or similar role.
* Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and fuel system issues.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Be presentable and approachable.
* Ability to work independently.
* Qualifications highly regarded.
* Forklift licence beneficial.
Responsibilities:
* Diagnose and repair problems and/or failures in a wide variety of equipment (e.g. mowers, edger's, pumps, compressors, hydraulic rams, sprayers, generators, switches, lights, etc.)
* Follow manufacturers service manuals /checklists to ensure all critical parts are examined.
* Clean, sharpen, and lubricate a variety of motorised equipment (e.g. reel mowers, blades, hedge trimmer, edger's, trimmers, etc.)
* Dismantle and remove engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms, and other components.
* Reassemble and test repaired engines and components.
* Ensure units are operating safely and correctly.
* Perform routine and preventive maintenance.
* Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, lubrication, blade sharpening, and engine tune-ups.
* Conduct pre-delivery checks to ensure that the equipment is fully functioning and available for delivery.
* Test and inspect engines for malfunctioning parts.
* Repair or replace worn, defective, or broken parts.
