We are currently seeking a highly motivated Technical Sales Specialist to join our Business Development team in Sydney. This key role will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new business opportunities that align with our company's objectives.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in technical sales, preferably in the professional lighting sector, with a proven track record of meeting set targets.
* Proactively identify and evaluate new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
* Develop and maintain a database of contacts for repeat and future business to foster strong client relationships.
* Provide innovative product and installation solutions that deliver value to clients and enhance their overall customer experience.
* Recommend lighting, rigging, and staging solutions for complex installations, leveraging your technical expertise to overcome any challenges.
* Offer technical and application support, as well as product information requests, to ensure seamless communication with clients.
* Demonstrate products to consultants and clients through dynamic presentations and showcase events, showcasing your product knowledge and presentation skills.
* Identify up-sell opportunities, issue quotes, and negotiate prices to maximize revenue and profitability.
* Participate in industry trade shows and networking events as required, representing our company and promoting our products.
* Monitor sales activity and provide regular reports to senior management, ensuring transparency and accountability.
* Achieve annual sales targets, demonstrating your ability to meet and exceed performance expectations.
