Base pay range

A$170,000.00/yr - A$180,000.00/yr

WHAT YOU WILL LEAD & GROW

* This Sales & Marketing Manager + Key Account position is focused on Commercial Excellence and is responsible for leading a small team while driving sales effectiveness, optimising commercial processes, supporting the execution of commercial strategies and developing strategic partnerships with key customer accounts.
* The role maximises business opportunities, drives sales growth and market share, and ensures the highest level of customer satisfaction. It requires close partnership with business units, finance, and operations to implement best practices and ensure alignment with organisational goals.
* The position supports operational efficiency, analysing sales performance data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement while driving initiatives to optimise pricing, segmentation, and customer targeting.
* The role supports sales forecasting and incentive-setting processes and collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of commercial initiatives while monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform strategy.
* The person to secure this position will develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve revenue and growth targets and build strong, trust-based relationships with key decision-makers, clinicians, procurement teams, and other stakeholders.
* You will identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts and lead tender, contract, and pricing negotiations while serving as the client's advocate to ensure satisfaction and timely issue resolution.
* Tracking and reporting on key commercial metrics and KPIs is part of this position along with leading key initiatives in the areas of Sales & Marketing to support sales force effectiveness, process efficiency, automation, digitisation, and productivity enhancement.
* You will establish individual performance expectations and regularly review individual performance of the team.
* You will manage the end-to-end contract lifecycle, including drafting, negotiation, approval, and renewal processes, and support pricing strategies developed by the business units while ensuring all contracts and pricing agreements comply with legal, regulatory, and company standards.
* You will analyse pricing performance, margins, and market trends, recommending adjustments to optimise profitability, and support the preparation of bids, tenders, and proposals to ensure commercial terms are competitive and compliant.
* You will develop, implement, and manage digital marketing campaigns across web, email, social media, and paid channels and oversee website content, strategies, and analytics for continuous improvement.
* You will lead the maintenance and enhancement of Salesforce CRM to meet evolving business needs and collaborate with business units and customer service to ensure integration of CRM processes while developing and implementing best practices for data management, reporting, and user adoption.


WHAT EXPERIENCE IS NEEDED

* At least 8 years of experience in all aspects of medical device sales and marketing, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership position within a medical device company.
* A bachelor's degree or equivalent in business management.
* Strong experience in channel management and distribution.
* Strong business and financial acumen.
* Strong customer orientation and relationship management skills.
* Ability to manage multiple internal and external stakeholders.
