Candidates must be Australian permanent residents or citizens with unrestricted work rights in Australia.
As a Building Designer/Senior Revit Documenter you:
* Ideally have at least 5–10 years' experience working on retail and commercial projects.
* Have a minimum of 5 years' professional experience in architectural documentation and construction projects.
* Have strong knowledge of construction in the commercial sector.
* Have a proven ability to produce high-quality construction documentation using Revit (AutoCAD experience also highly regarded).
* Feel confident taking projects from town planning phases through to full architectural documentation, with a solid understanding of building construction, the BCA, and experience in site surveys and measurements.
* Enjoy knowledge sharing, mentoring and training team members, and willingly take more junior staff under your wing.
* Have a positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
* Are able to work both autonomously and as a member of a small, medium or large team, meeting deadlines while maintaining strong attention to detail.
* Are able to organise and prioritise work with excellent time management.
* Are a proactive, self‐motivated individual who is adaptable to a fast‐paced workplace.
* Have excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships within the company and with clients.
* Have a drive to learn, are open to new ways of working, and strive for quality and excellence in all aspects of your work.
* Possess any recognised tertiary qualification in architecture, building design, or related field.
* Have good knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel and a current driver's licence.
* Are fluent with Revit (and highly competent in AutoCAD).
