Opportunity
As a Senior Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high‑impact financial and commercial advisory services across multiple engagements. You will work closely with stakeholders to provide strategic insights and innovative solutions in areas such as:
Key Responsibilities
* Financial & Regulatory Reporting – support clients in preparing financial statements and meeting compliance requirements.
* Budget Development & Estimates – assist in developing budgets and financial forecasts for major initiatives.
* Cost Estimation & Investment Analysis – develop and review cost estimates, lifecycle cost models, and business cases.
* Technical Accounting & Standards – provide guidance on accounting treatments and interpret public sector accounting standards.
* Finance Transformation – design and implement finance strategies, operating models, and performance frameworks.
* Digital Finance & Automation – leverage data analytics and automation tools to enhance financial operations and reporting.
* Governance & Frameworks – advise on financial governance, frameworks, and best practices.
* Financial Data Analytics – use data‑driven insights to support decision‑making and performance improvement.
* Procurement & Commercial Advisory – advise on financial aspects of procurement strategies and value‑for‑money assessments.
* Efficiency & Operational Reviews – conduct reviews to enhance financial effectiveness and streamline processes.
* Integrated Reporting & Strategic Documentation – develop executive dashboards, board papers, and reports that communicate complex financial concepts clearly.
* Project Management & Team Leadership – manage multiple engagements and mentor junior team members in a collaborative, high‑performance environment.
Candidate Profile / Expectations
* Demonstrated experience in financial advisory, costing, or transformation roles within government or consulting environments.
* Strong analytical and commercial mindset.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Proficiency in financial modelling tools and Microsoft Excel.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high‑quality outcomes.
* Expertise in interpreting complex financial standards and frameworks.
Qualifications
Tertiary qualifications in accounting, finance, business, or related fields. Professional certifications such as CA, CPA, or CIMA are highly regarded.
