About the Role:
We're looking for an experienced Entertainment Specialist to play a key role within our Festival team, leading the delivery of high-quality entertainment across our major events, including Blues on Broadbeach, Groundwater Country Music Festival and Cooly Rocks On.
In this role, you will take ownership of key aspects of artist management and entertainment operations, ensuring seamless delivery from planning through to on-ground execution. You’ll work closely with internal teams, artists, agents and suppliers to deliver exceptional festival experiences while contributing to strong commercial and operational outcomes.
This role requires some evening, weekend, and/or public holiday work in line with festival delivery.
What You’ll Do:
* Lead the end-to-end management of assigned entertainment portfolios across multiple festivals.
* Manage artist logistics including contracting, travel, accommodation, production requirements and on-ground delivery.
* Oversee accommodation sourcing, contracting, room allocations and budget tracking.
* Manage the Expression of Interest (EOI) process, including applications, evaluations, negotiations and contracting.
* Prepare and manage key documentation including run sheets, schedules, production manuals and operational packs.
* Coordinate on-site entertainment delivery, ensuring smooth execution across all event phases.
* Collaborate with ticketing, marketing, media and communications teams to support announcements, campaigns and ticketed experiences.
* Manage budgets, purchase orders, invoicing and financial tracking for assigned areas.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with artists, agents, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
What You’ll Bring:
* 4–5+ years’ experience in festivals, events, entertainment or a related industry, with end-to-end delivery experience.
* Demonstrated experience managing artist or talent logistics, including contracting, travel and on-ground coordination.
* Strong understanding of the live music or entertainment industry, with experience managing budgets and supplier relationships.
* Highly developed organisational, project management and stakeholder engagement skills, with strong attention to detail.
* Commercial awareness, sound judgement and the ability to deliver outcomes in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
* A proactive, adaptable and collaborative approach, with a passion for live events and entertainment.
