Senior Trend Forecaster – Womenswear Southern Hemisphere
We are looking for a visionary, future-focused individual to join our Cotton On team. This role is about more than spotting what’s next – it’s about setting the tone, inspiring the business, and shaping creative direction that connects with millions of customers.
Responsibilities
- Lead the charge on identifying, curating, and communicating big ideas in trend, colour, fabric, and print.
- Scan global culture, runways, retail and social feeds to anticipate fashion direction.
- Translate signals into clear, actionable insights for design, buying, marketing and beyond.
- Create compelling visual storytelling and engaging presentations that inspire confidence across teams.
- Present to audiences, collaborate across large teams, and build strong cross‑functional relationships.
Skills & Experience
- Tertiary qualification or relevant industry experience in fashion, design, or trend forecasting.
- Proven experience in trend forecasting or design with a strong understanding of the Southern Hemisphere market.
- Research, analyse and translate global cultural and digital signals into actionable insights.
- Deep familiarity with pop culture, social platforms, and emerging digital trends.
- Exceptional presentation and public speaking skills – able to inspire, influence, and rally cross‑functional teams.
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign with strong visual storytelling ability.
- Creative vision balancing future‑focused ideas with commercial application.
- Collaborative, thriving in a team environment, building strong relationships across the business.
