About the Role
If you have experience in traffic management operations, we have an exciting opportunity for you Join our team overseeing operations in Tamworth and North West NSW. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing and expanding a safe, efficient, and profitable region. You'll oversee and coordinate the activities of traffic controller teams, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and future planning to meet client needs. This position is based at our Tamworth depot and requires travel between depot and sites throughout the region.
Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the NSW Regional Manager, the Operations Supervisor – Tamworth and North West NSW will be responsible for supervising Team Leaders and Traffic Controllers in the region in addition to a range of operational requirements.
* Work with the allocations team to ensure client's needs are fulfilled in a timely and accurate manner.
* Manage the regions assets, ensuring the correct vehicles and equipment are available for allocated works.
* Ensure OHS and Quality compliance through the completion of site and traffic controller audits and assessments in line with set KPIs.
* Report on all incidents and complete incident investigations as per the company's incident reporting procedures.
* Ensuring resource supply through the recruitment of employees in line with procedures and policies.
* Mentor and develop traffic controllers in the operational aspects of their roles.
Skills and Experience
* Experienced traffic controller, having worked in a supervisor role or an experienced operations supervisor from similar industry.
* Good communications skills, written and oral
* Ability to prioritise tasks and have proven time management skills
* Commitment to being a team player
* Ability to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
